Tony Bennett, Hills Dental Group
When Tony qualified as a dentist he first practiced as a civilian dentist at the Woodside Army Camp. Nine months later he joined the Hills Dental Group – that was 30 years ago!
“I like getting people out of trouble – if they’re in pain or needing more extensive intervention. I really enjoy reconstructing damaged teeth and take great pleasure in shaping a tooth that is functional and well done!”
Outside of practice Tony’s main passion is music. He plays in a band with two other dentists – playing bluegrass banjo, mandolin and the 12 string guitar. “We play to raise funds for charity – especially for Medecins sans Frontieres and Catherine House, a women’s shelter. I really want to raise enormous amounts of money for charity when I retire. Maybe I could become the Bill Gates of charity music!” He also is a keen tennis player and enjoys cycling. He recently completed the Stirling to Victor Harbor 100km marathon in November 2006
