Mark Crawford, Piccadilly Surgery
Mark graduated as a family general practitioner in 1986 and has been in his current clinic in Piccadilly since 1990. “I really wanted a country practice so when the old church came up for sale it was the perfect place for me to set up practice.”
Mark finds the most satisfying part of his job is having contact with the families and individuals in the area. He feels privileged to be part of their lives and it gives him a great source of enjoyment.
“I’m now seeing people in their twenties who were treated by me when they were little children. They’re now having babies. It’s great to be part of the different stages of a family.”
Away from the clinic Mark spends most of his spare time involved with his own family and his children’s activities. He also spends time tending his small hobby winery of 125 vines. “We only make about 12 to 14 dozen a year but it’s still a lot of fun”.
