THE REAL ESTATE AGENT
Marlene O”Rielley, Gardiners Real Estate
Marlene is the third generation of her family to live in the Adelaide Hills district and have been in the real estate industry for the past 35 years. In 1980 she bought Gardiners in Stirling.
“I like meeting different people from all walks of life. It’s nice to help young people get into the market place and it’s equally as satisfying helping the elderly with their retirement needs.” She also enjoys selling a wide spectrum of properties. “One day I could be selling a cute little cottage in Bridgewater, the next day an enormous farming estate somewhere in a rural setting – it’s full of variety.”
When Marlene isn’t selling real estate she is heavily involved with a variety of volunteer groups. She belongs to the Stirling Rotary Club and was the first female president of the Mt Lofty Rotary club. She also was the first female president for the Real Estate Institute and serves on the Stirling Hospital board.
“Being part of the different community groups gives me a lot of personal satisfaction.”
